When you start a journey into the amazing world of the waveform, what;s more important is the starting point.
So please welcome SKG booster-overdrive effect pedal suitable for bass/guitar.
It’s a pre-amp that is capable to deliver either transparent or more aggressive overdrive tones using a 2SK30 n-channel JFet transistor.
A three way selector switch sculpts the output waveform and let you dial from tight to phat tones without volume loss.
Furthermore, the design is open to modifications; the most critical parts -including the transistor- can be easily swapped out, since the whole schematic is realized on an IC socket.
